The Five Things I Plan To Do for 2015

Hello, 2015!

2014 was a great reading year for me and as the year changed, I decided to step up my reading and blogging. Here are the five things I plan to do for 2015!

1. Blog more.
Although I don’t want to make reading and blogging a chore, writing reviews is one of the best ways to help authors and fellow readers. So I’m going to try to review more books. I’m shooting for atleast two books a month because it’s also important to for me to pace myself.

2. Re read
Yes! So many of my books deserve a re-read! With Sylvain Reynard’sย  The Prince and The Raven and Jamie McGuire’s Beautiful Redemption and Laura Florand’s Once Uponย  A Rose coming out this year, a re-read of their previous books is an absolute must!

3. Widen my reading selections.
There are some books that I usually shy away from, like books about vampires, YA romances, historical romances, paranormal and horror. This year, I’m stepping out of my comfort zone. Suggestions, anyone?

4. Read more Filipino Literature
Filipino lit has been my most amazing reading discovery this year. Mina V. Esguerra, Chrissie Peria and Edgar Calabia Samar, to name a few, were my favourites forย  2014. I would love to discover more, indie or otherwise.

5. Be meme-religious
I’ve joined a couple of blogging memes last year and have sadly fallen off the carriage. This year, I swear to keep up.

What about you? What are you planning to do this year?

  2. Great goals for 2015. I’m a big fan of reading outside your comfort zone and trying new things. It’s so exciting when you find one you thought wouldn’t be for you and turns into a great read ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Anna, I actually forgot to add “read a book about cowboys”. And that one is all on you because I remember always seeing covers and photos of cowboys on your blog! LoL I might as well join your 2015 New To You Reading Challenge! *clicks on blog*
